It's October 2007, recently a small group of people have been developing strange gifts, things have been happening, unexplainable things. Some of these people have welcomed their 'gifts' and others have tried to push them away and have resented or feared them. Some people want these gifts more than others, some are willing to kill for them. One man thinks he's a cut above the rest, Sylar, formerly Gabriel Gray is searching for these people and is taking their powers. An Indian scientist by the name of Chandra Suresh came up with a way to find these people, and compiled a list with all their names and details, Sylar wants that list. He killed Chadra Suresh but failed to get the list, now it is up to Chandra's son, Mohinder to find these people and warn them of the danger. Some however are already aware and some are in danger. Sylar has come across records of a girl with extraordianary powers, the ability to heal herself, she is a cheerleader in Odessa, Texas. Three people are out to save her, Peter Petrelli, who recieved a foreboding message from someone claiming to be from the future and Hiro Nakamura and his friend Ando, who recieved the same message from Peter
